Our speaker for Tuesday's meeting will be KCMO North Patrol Community Interaction Office, Paul Burkhalter.
Each patrol division has a Community Interaction Officer (or “CIO”) that is assigned to assist the community with crime related issues that are not effectively handled by a call to 911. These can include anything from long-term disputes with neighbors to educating the community how they can best get police services possible. The position also includes handling a wide variety of prevention and outreach opportunities.
"Gladstone will close its 26th Season of Theatre in the Park with "Music Man". The show opens Friday, August 2nd and runs three nights consecutively through Sunday, August 4th. All performances begin at 8:30 p.m. and concessions will be provided by Gladstone Rotary."
When picking up your name badge, ensure you check the box by your name on the sign-in sheet to indicate you attended the meeting. If you don't sign in, you will not be counted for that meeting.
The new Sergeant-At-Arms Mary Lizar, and Deputy Butch Bender, have established a new set of guidelines for every member to follow. You'll want to review these guidelines carefully or you'll need to stop at the ATM before the meeting!
